    A number of texts are listed below. You are encouraged to purchase at least one of the general texts, although you might prefer to pick a couple of books about specific countries (see items marked as "Suggested for student purchase" under country headings in the Reading List). Also note that rather than singling out a particular text for purchase, it is recommended that you coordinate your purchases with friends/other students in your tutorial group or with whom you otherwise study. This way, in preparing for tutorials, you will have immediate access to a wider range of material. Students should also access the Electronic Journals available online via the University Library webpage. These provide the most updated research and published material in what are cases/situations where there has been fast-paced change.
